Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large, complex construction project from mobilisation to handover in the North East. You will be the on-site lead, directing a team, coordinating with clients, consultants and stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, to budget and to required quality.

You will drive programme, cost control, risk management and safety, while maintaining strong client relationships and leading a high-performing team in a Tier 1 contractor

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager.
• Experience on schemes £10m+.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Experience under NEC contracts.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, including programme, commercial performance, quality, and risk management.
• Lead and develop the project team, setting clear direction and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout delivery and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all site activities.
• Drive programme and cost control, identifying risks and opportunities to maximise project performance and profitability.
