Kier Group plc. in Birmingham is launching a 2-year Graduate Construction Manager programme starting September 2027. The role offers a starting salary of £31,000 per annum with a car allowance on some contracts and a clear path to an assistant level role with salary potential to around £38k.

You will gain hands-on experience in planning, coordination and supervision of construction projects, supported by experienced professionals, with progression to a permanent role after the programme.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Clear motivation to start a career in construction management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards.
• Team player with reliability and respect for others.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall management and coordination of construction projects from start to finish.
• Support the Site Manager in daily site operations and safety compliance.
• Monitor progress, schedules, costs and quality controls.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress logs.
