Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer for its Reading office to support major water and wastewater programmes across the South Central region.

You will join a growing team that includes engineers from graduates to chartered professionals and contribute to AMP8 delivery on water infrastructure. The role focuses on design through to construction support, with opportunities to work with process, mechanical, electrical, structural and geotechnical specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• You are able to adapt to changing project priorities.
• You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and delivery of water and wastewater projects from concept to detailed design.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and drawings in line with industry standards.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical and GIS specialists.
• Participate in design reviews, meetings and site visits to gain practical knowledge.
• Support project delivery activities including quality assurance and safety compliance.
• Contribute to projects that improve water resilience and environmental performance.
