Amey is offering a Graduate Civil Engineer position in Perth, Scotland. Starting salary £31,000, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start date September 2027.

You’ll join our Highways & Transportation Practice within the Engineering Business, delivering schemes for national and local highways and developing practical skills from day one. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to reports, proposals, and client presentations, and help shape the future of the UK’s

Qualifications

Must have a Civil/Structural Engineering degree (Grade 2:1 or above).
Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

Prepare/contribute to technical reports, design proposals and client presentations.
Support delivery of engineering projects for national and local highways.
Contribute to asset management strategies and lifecycle planning.
Use industry-standard software to model and analyse options/performance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical and environmental engineers.
Develop innovative designs that comply with industry standards.
Deliver robust designs ensuring safe, efficient management of assets.

Education

Civil/Structural Engineering Degree (2:1 or above)
