Arup in the United Kingdom invites applications for a Graduate Civil Engineer role in our Newcastle team. You will contribute to planning, design and delivery of energy infrastructure projects, from hydrogen to energy storage, working with experienced specialists and using industry-leading digital tools.

Ideal candidates hold a Masters in Civil Engineering, are recently graduated or on track, and bring knowledge of earthworks, drainage, highways, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and BIM concepts.

Qualifications

Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Strong foundation in civil design principles and technical reporting.
Familiarity with digital tools used in civil design (CAD/BIM).

Responsibilities

Contribute to planning, design and delivery of major energy infrastructure projects.
Develop civil engineering designs for earthworks, drainage, highways, and site infrastructure.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated engineering solutions.
Undertake technical assessments, calculations, site investigations and related reports.
Support training and hands-on project experience to enable net-zero infrastructure.
