Job summary

Arup in Newcastle is seeking a Graduate Infrastructure Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for water, energy, and industrial infrastructure. You’ll work in multidisciplinary teams, develop technical capability, and progress toward professional accreditation.

Ideal candidates will have relevant degrees with IET accreditation or eligibility, CAD/BIM familiarity, and an eagerness to learn through real project experience with potential site travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (2.1+).
• IET accreditation or eligibility.
• Experience with CAD/BIM beneficial.
• Willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for infrastructure projects and perform calculations.
• Produce specifications and designs, BIM and digital modelling.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and prepare technical reports.
• Support site activities and project delivery.
