Qualifications

• Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Bachelor and a master's degree (obtained no earlier than 2025) or expected to achieve one of the listed degree disciplines.
• Eligible for UK security clearance (UK British national or 5 years in the UK).

• Strong written and verbal communication and a structured, analytical approach to problems.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and specification of mechanical building services systems (heating, ventilation, HVAC, domestic water, public health).
• Assist with calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Contribute to sustainability and decarbonisation strategies to help clients reach net-zero targets.
• Use industry-standard software and digital engineering tools to develop and coordinate designs.
• Collaborate with electrical, structural, civil, architectural, and sustainability specialists for integrated solutions.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, surveys, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in analyzing building energy performance and identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Support project planning, programme management, cost control, and client interactions.
• Develop understanding of legislation, standards, regulations, and best practice.
