Job summary

Amey's Bridges and Civil Structures team in Sheffield is recruiting a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer to work on UK-wide projects with national and local impact. You will be involved from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management, developing practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering; minimum 2:1.
• Interest in bridges/civil structures and sustainable development.
• Commitment to developing practical, design and asset management skills.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team working on UK and international projects.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures from investigation to detailed design.
• Undertake structural analysis and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations and asset management activities.
• Contribute to data, analytics and digital technology initiatives.
