Job summary

Amey is seeking a Bridges and Civil Structures Graduate to join its Consulting team in York. You’ll work on high-impact projects with National Highways and Network Rail, contributing to investigations, optioning, design, inspections and asset management from day one.

You’ll be part of a structured development pathway, gaining practical skills, mentoring, and exposure to sustainability-driven infrastructure programmes across the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – (Minimum Grade 2:1)
• An interest in bridges / civil structures
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works
• Contribute to the development and implementation of world-class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.

Education
