Job summary

Amey is looking for a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer to join our Consulting team in Sheffield. You’ll work on bridges and civil structures across the UK, developing practical solutions from investigation through to design and asset management.

You’ll learn from industry experts, perform structural analysis and 3D modelling, help with carbon and cost estimates, and contribute to data-driven, digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – (Minimum Grade 2:1).
• An interest in bridges / civil structures.
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works
• Contribute to the development and implementation of world-class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
