Amey Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer. Location: Nottingham. Salary: £31,000.

Start Date: September 2027. You will work on UK and international projects, developing practical solutions across investigation, optioneering, design, construction supervision and asset management. The team focuses on bridges, civil structures and infra projects with opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and develop carbon estimates, 3D models, and digital

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – (Minimum Grade 2:1)
An interest in bridges / civil structures
A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

Be part of an experienced team, working on exciting UK and international projects.
Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works
Contribute to the development and implementation of data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
