Job summary

Amey is seeking a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer in Exeter. You will work in a busy Consulting team on projects ranging from National Highways frameworks to local improvements, contributing to design, analysis and asset management from day one.

With a structured development pathway, you’ll learn from industry experts, tackle challenging tasks, and participate in transformational infrastructure projects across the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering (minimum 2:1).
• Interest in bridges and civil structures.
• Commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Work in experienced team on UK and international projects.
• Develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon/cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations and monitoring.
• Contribute to data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
