Job summary

Amey is seeking a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer to join the Cardiff team. You will work on varied projects with National Highways and Network Rail, contributing from day one.

The role offers a structured development pathway, mentoring, and the chance to shape UK infrastructure outcomes. As a graduate, you’ll tackle investigations, design, and asset management tasks, with opportunities to grow technical skills and gain exposure to international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering (minimum 2:1).
• Interest in bridges/civil structures and sustainable development.
• Willingness to learn and develop through mentoring and training.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced team on exciting UK and international projects.
• Develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to design and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, SHM and supervision of works.
• Contribute to data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
