Job summary

Amey in Belfast is seeking a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer to join our Consulting team. You’ll work on multi-disciplinary projects with National Highways and Network Rail, developing practical skills from day one and helping shape the future of UK infrastructure.

You’ll undertake structural analysis, assist with inspections and asset management, and contribute to carbon and cost estimates while learning from industry experts in a supportive, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering (minimum 2:1)
• Interest in bridges / civil structures
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works
• Contribute to the development and implementation of world-class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
