Amey is seeking a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer for a location in Newcastle. The role offers an entry point into major UK and international projects with exposure to design, analysis and asset management early in your career.

You will join a team delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure solutions for National Highways, Network Rail and other clients, developing practical skills and contributing to innovative, sustainable projects from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering (minimum 2:1)
• Interest in bridges / civil structures
• Commitment to sustainable development

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works
• Contribute to the development and implementation of world‑class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
