Job summary

Amey Ltd in Cardiff is recruiting a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer. You’ll join our Consulting team and work on meaningful projects from day one, developing practical engineering skills and learning from industry experts.

You will participate in structural analysis, optioneering and design tasks, contribute to asset management and data-informed solutions, and support inspections on UK-wide programmes, with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering with minimum 2:1.
• Interest in bridges and civil structures.
• Commitment to sustainable development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Work with an experienced team on UK and international projects.
• Assist in investigations, optioneering, feasibility and design.
• Perform structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models and drawings.
• Support inspections and asset management activities.
