Job summary

Claremont Clinic is seeking an Operations and Workforce Lead to support the Practice Manager in the day-to-day running of the GP surgery in Forest Gate, London. This role combines administration, people management, and patient service to ensure high standards of care.

With a minimum of two years in healthcare management or GP practice, you will oversee staff, rosters, HR processes, policies, and liaise with external professionals to maintain CQC compliance.

Qualifications

• GP Surgery Management experience (minimum 2 years)
• GP Surgery Administrative Experience
• Proficient ICT
• Proficient in use of EMISWeb or SystmOne
• Experience supervising and appraising staff
• Financial management
• Human resource management

Responsibilities

• Support the management of clinical and non-clinical staff
• Oversee administrative systems, procedures, and patient services
• Assist with rotas, recruitment, training, and HR processes
• Write and update practice policies and procedures
• Liaise with patients, staff, and external healthcare professionals
• Contribute to compliance with CQC standards and practice policies
• Strong administrative and ICT skills
