Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proven Goods-In experience with strong stock consolidation skills.
• Knowledge and experience of racking systems required.
• Valid forklift licences for Counterbalance, Bendi, Multi-directional are essential.

Responsibilities

• Checking incoming stock against purchase orders.
• Accurate receipting of purchase orders.
• Putting stock away and rotating stock correctly.
• Using handheld scanners to process and manage stock.
• Operating forklift trucks for deliveries and stock management.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties.

Goods‑In Operative with Forklift Licences

Location: Gatwick

Salary: £33,000 – £34,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00 or 08:00-18:00 (depending on business needs)

Key Responsibilities

• Checking incoming stock against purchase orders
• Accurate receipting of purchase orders (attention to detail is essential)
• Putting stock away and rotating stock correctly
• Working with racking systems (previous experience required)
• Using handheld scanners to process and manage stock (experience desirable; training provided)
• Operating forklift trucks to put stock away and load vehicles for deliveries
• Consolidating stock efficiently
• Carrying out general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment in line with health & safety requirements

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced warehouse or logistics environment
• Proven Goods‑In experience with strong stock consolidation skills
• Knowledge and experience of racking systems
• Experience using warehouse systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (advantageous but not essential)
• Valid forklift licences for Counterbalance, Bendi, Multi‑directional (all licences are essential)
