Job summary

Get Golfing is seeking a Golf Operations Assistant to support the Golf Operations Manager and ensure smooth, attentive service for members and visitors. You will help maintain Golf Manager software, assist with tee sheet management and golf retail, and help deliver an outstanding customer experience on site.

The role emphasizes face-to-face service, equipment upkeep and accurate record-keeping, with shifts across the week and a friendly, community-focused environment for staff and players.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf is required or highly desirable.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, ensuring positive interactions with members, guests and colleagues.
• Strong customer engagement skills, ability to build relationships and resolve issues.
• Strong organisational, customer and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily Golf Experience: be the face of the operation in golf service areas, manage tee sheets, and ensure exceptional service.
• Golf Retail: contribute to shop presentation and ensure equipment upkeep, including buggies and rental clubs with liability forms.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: address inquiries and complaints professionally, fostering a welcoming environment.
• Administrative Support: process payments and entries using the golf management system, maintain reservations and reports.
