Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a mid-level Golang Engineer to strengthen our integration platform, connecting Grocery Partners with the JET ecosystem. You will develop in Go, work on event-driven microservices and help advance architecture while supporting delivery teams.

You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, learn quickly, and bring ideas that improve reliability, scalability, and observability. The role emphasizes ownership and clear communication within a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of backend engineering with production Go experience.
• Strong Go fundamentals: concurrency, error handling and interfaces.
• Microservice and event-driven design experience.
• Built and run a production service end to end, with monitoring and fixes.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Curiosity, ownership and strong communication.
• AI-assisted development: using Claude Code and Kiro to move faster while defending code.
• Pair programming experience.
• Kubernetes or container platforms experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural decisions and help move the platform forward.
• Support product and delivery teams.
