Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a senior Golang engineer to elevate our integration platform that connects Grocery Partners with the Just Eat Takeaway ecosystem. You will own technical direction, build new features, and mentor mid-level and junior engineers.

This permanent role focuses on reliability, performance, and scalability for thousands of partner integrations. We work with event-driven microservices, Kubernetes, AWS (DynamoDB, S3), Kafka, and observability tooling.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Golang with production experience.
• Strong background in event-driven distributed systems.
• Experience running services in production on AWS, including on-call and incident response.
• Familiarity with TDD and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Build features in Golang for the core integration platform.
• Make architectural decisions and set technical direction for the platform.
• Support product and delivery teams and mentor engineers.
• Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
