Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a mid-level Golang engineer to strengthen our integration platform and maintain core services used by thousands of partners. You’ll work on event-driven microservices, primarily in Go, with exposure to Kafka, AWS, Datadog, Grafana, and Kubernetes.

Growth path to senior level is expected as you contribute to architecture and delivery. You will collaborate with product and delivery teams, learn from senior engineers, and bring practical ideas to the table while

Qualifications

• 1+ year of production Go (or 2+ years in another modern backend language)
• Solid Go fundamentals: concurrency, error handling, interfaces
• Microservice and event-driven design experience
• Built and run at least one production service end-to-end with monitoring
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Curiosity and ownership
• Strong communication skills and the ability to defend code

Responsibilities

• Build new features in Go within the core language
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help move the platform forward
• Support product and delivery teams
• Learn from senior engineers and share knowledge with the team
