Proactive Global in the UK requires a proactive Transport Administrator to manage the movement of food, drink and grocery products from warehouse to customer across domestic and international markets. You will own day-to-day transport operations, from booking shipments to delivery confirmation, resolving issues with carriers and keeping customers updated on schedules and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport administration or logistics coordination.
• Experience booking, tracking and managing shipments with proof of delivery.
• Knowledge of export documentation and international shipping.
• Able to coordinate cross-border deliveries and tailor carrier instructions.
• Commercial awareness to compare freight costs and service levels.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with warehouse, suppliers and customers.
• Proficient in spreadsheets and transport/order management systems.
• Proactive problem-solving and ownership of issues.

Responsabilités

• Arrange, book and monitor outbound shipments to meet schedules.
• Compare carrier rates and transport methods to reduce costs.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and relevant records.
• Coordinate with warehouse, sales teams and providers.
• Monitor deliveries and resolve issues early.
• Record shortages, damages and discrepancies with carriers and customers.
• Provide weekly updates on delivery performance and freight expenditure.
