Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Transport Administrator to be the primary contact for transport issues and perform essential admin duties to support the depot's operations and deliver professional customer service.

The role involves handling calls/emails, data entry, records management, cross-department collaboration, and supporting the transport team to maintain service quality for TLC customers during delivery and ordering processes.

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of the food distribution market place.
• Experience in dealing with cash transactions.
• Commercial awareness.
• Competent in IT: Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out administrative and reporting duties to support governance requirements.
• Handle calls and emails to provide admin support to the Transport Manager.
• Input data using the appropriate electronic systems.
• Manage storage of records (physical and electronic).
• Liaise with other departments to ensure effective communication and information flow.
• Collate data for system tools to add value (e.g., Microlise).
• Support transport supervisors/manager in daily tasks.
• Ensure TLC customers are managed throughout delivery/order process.
