Job summary

Escape Recruitment Services Ltd is partnering with a global engineering organisation to recruit a Sales Manager to join its commercial team. The role combines three days on site in Fife with two days remote work and requires international travel, sometimes at short notice.

You will drive the full sales lifecycle, develop strategic customer relationships across international markets, and work with engineering and cross-functional teams to convert opportunities into orders.

Qualifications

• Experienced technical sales professional in a B2B environment.
• Background in engineering, industrial technology or similar.
• Proven ability to manage complex contracts and negotiate outcomes.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex technical sales opportunities and ensure targets are met.
• Develop relationships and identify opportunities across international markets.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and manage long sales cycles.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, operations and regional sales teams.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and gather market intelligence for growth.
• Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and events.
