Workforce Staffing Ltd is partnering with a specialist engineering manufacturer to recruit a Technical Sales Representative for international growth. The role combines technical understanding with a strong commercial mindset and involves travel to meet customers and distributors.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering qualification and experience in technical sales, with a track record in selling technical products to international customers. Travel is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering HND or equivalent qualification or relevant technical experience.
• Experience in technical sales within an engineering environment.
• Experience selling technical products or solutions to customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Commercially astute with the ability to manage a sales process from prospecting through to closing.
• Experience working with international customers, distributors or agents is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support and grow sales across international markets with distributors and agents.
• Travel internationally to meet customers and attend trade shows and events.
• Provide high-level technical support and respond to queries promptly and professionally.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations, both virtually and on-site.
• Negotiate pricing and discounts in line with commercial guidelines.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and aftersales to meet customer requirements.
• Assist in developing market strategies to increase market share.
