Escape Recruitment is partnering with a global engineering organisation to recruit a Sales Manager to join its commercial team. You will drive complex international sales opportunities, build strategic customer relationships and collaborate with engineering, project management and international sales teams to grow the business.

The role reports to the Sales Director and covers full lifecycle from opportunity development and proposals to contract negotiations and orders, with hybrid on-site and

Qualifications

• You’ll be an experienced technical sales professional with a background in engineering, industrial technology or another technically complex B2B environment.
• We're particularly interested in candidates with experience managing complex contracts, working with technical stakeholders and selling engineered products or solutions.

Responsibilities

• Managing complex technical sales opportunities, ensuring sales and margin targets are achieved.
• Developing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across international markets.
• Preparing quotations, negotiating commercial agreements and managing lengthy sales cycles.
• Working collaboratively with engineering, purchasing, operations and regional sales teams.
• Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and gathering market intelligence to support future growth.
• Representing the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and international industry events.
