Job summary

Mackie Myers Ltd is partnering with an innovative technology business to appoint a Talent Manager who will own the full employee lifecycle and lead a Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will develop scalable talent strategies to support UK growth and international expansion.

This role balances strategy with delivery in a fast-growing environment, focusing on onboarding, development, engagement and performance programs, while strengthening governance and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience designing leadership and management development programmes.
• People management experience, ideally leading recruitment or talent teams.
• Strong stakeholder management with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
• Experience using data and analytics to improve talent outcomes and inform decisions.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice people processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with hands-on delivery.
• Experience across in-house and agency recruitment environments.
• Exposure to private equity or venture capital-backed businesses.
• Experience within life sciences, healthcare, healthtech or regulated sectors.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent.
• Experience implementing or optimising HR, ATS or learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global talent acquisition strategy.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes with strong candidate experience.
• Design onboarding, performance management and development programmes.
• Lead leadership and management development initiatives and career pathways.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and maintain HR records.
• Monitor talent metrics and drive continuous improvement.
