Job summary

Stafford House International in Canterbury seeks a Student Services Officer to be a first point of contact for international students. You will assist with arrivals, accommodation, pastoral support, and daily life in Canterbury.

The role blends student support with activities and customer service in a busy, welcoming residence. You will work a 70-hour two-week rota (35h/week) including weekends and some evenings, with on-site accommodation and access to facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Genuine interest in helping international students.
• Comfortable working in a busy, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome students and manage arrivals and accommodation queries.
• Provide pastoral and welfare support to students.
• Support student activities, excursions and evening programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe residence and coordinate with staff.
• Handle general administration and inquiries; emergency phone on rota.
