Job summary

Citi is recruiting for a SP Technology Support Engineer to join the Spread Products production management group. You will support front office users on the SP platform, coordinate with Sales, Trading and Risk, and drive stability across the trading tech stack.

The role involves incident management, collaboration with in-house development teams, and global coverage to ensure nightly batch processing aligns with SLAs. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical problem solving and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise issues based on business impact.
• Capable of remaining calm and effective during crises or outages.
• Continuous improvement mindset with proactive issue anticipation.
• Technical breadth including log analysis, scripting, Unix, and SQL.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Trade floor: support SP front-office users daily.
• eTrading applications support for Spread Products platform.
• Global follow-the-sun coverage ensuring overnight risk batches meet SLAs.
• Investigate downstream feed issues and improve data quality checks.
• Collaborate with in-house dev teams and escalate when needed.
• Incident and task management in ServiceNow; maintain stability in Jira.
• Improve monitoring, observability, and controls across the stack.
• Enhance resiliency and accountability for the tech stack.
