Job summary

Chart Industries, part of Howden Compressors, seeks a Senior Project Manager in Renfrew, Scotland to own delivery of complex compressor package projects from contract award to completion. You will lead engineering, procurement, manufacturing and commissioning, interfacing with customers worldwide and mentoring others to drive best practice and project performance.

You will support international projects with travel as needed, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and profitability while expanding

Qualifications

• Lead complex, high-value projects across engineering disciplines.
• Strong governance, controls, risk and lifecycle delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex, high-value package projects globally.
• Own project execution from sales handover to commissioning.
• Develop relationships with customers and manage communications.
• Mentor and guide Project Managers and teams.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow to meet targets.
• Monitor schedules, resources, risks and opportunities.
• Resolve complex technical, commercial and contractual issues.
• Ensure invoicing, changes, and LC are handled properly.
• Collaborate with engineering on doc release and queries.
• Prepare and present project reviews to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement for quality and profitability.
• Facilitate handover to commissioning and aftermarket.
