Job summary

Howden Compressors, part of Baker Hughes, is seeking a Project Manager to deliver complex compressor package projects from award to completion in a hybrid manner from Renfrew. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing and commissioning teams, managing schedule, cost and risk while engaging customers throughout execution.

The role calls for a strong project professional with ownership mindset, excellent communication and a proven track record in fast-paced, multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in engineering.
• Experience delivering engineering projects in energy or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and lifecycle.
• Experience with schedules, budgets, forecasts and customer deliverables.
• Contract management and project controls awareness.
• Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex compressor package projects from sales handover to completion.
• Manage schedules, budgets, forecasts and cash flow performance.
• Primary day-to-day contact for customers during execution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and commissioning.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, issues and opportunities.
• Ensure contractual obligations and customer expectations are met.
• Support procurement and supplier management to maintain delivery schedules.
• Produce project status reports and participate in reviews.
• Contribute to cost management and forecasting for financial performance.
