Job summary

Howden Compressors, part of Baker Hughes, seeks a Senior Project Manager to own the delivery of complex compressor package projects from award to completion. You’ll lead across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and commissioning, while mentoring Project Managers and driving best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex, high-value engineering projects across sectors.
• Strong governance, controls, risk management and lifecycle delivery.
• Experience managing large budgets, cash flow and forecasting.
• Ability to manage contractual requirements and changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex, high-value package projects globally.
• Take ownership from sales handover through engineering, procurement, manufacture and commissioning.
• Act as primary customer contact, building strong relationships and communications.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Project Managers and teams.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow to meet financial targets.
• Monitor schedules, resources, risks, and opportunities for success.
• Support resolution of technical, commercial and contractual matters.
• Ensure invoicing, changes and LC compliance with contract terms.
• Collaborate with engineering to support document releases and queries.
• Drive continual improvement in quality, delivery and profitability.
• Prepare project documentation and handover to commissioning and aftermarket teams.
