Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex compressor package projects from award to completion in Renfrew, Scotland.

You will coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing and commissioning teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence, while maintaining strong customer engagement across international projects. The role requires high ownership, problem-solving, and a collaborative approach within a fast-paced engineering

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in engineering.
• Experience delivering engineering projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy or related industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of project management lifecycle delivery.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, forecasts and customer deliverables.
• Knowledge of contract management, project controls and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex compressor package projects from sales handover through to final completion.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts and cash flow performance.
• Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for customers throughout project execution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and commissioning functions.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues and opportunities.
• Ensure project requirements, contractual obligations and customer expectations are achieved.
• Produce regular project status reports and participate in customer review meetings.
• Support procurement and supplier management activities to maintain project delivery schedules.
