Job summary

Palo Alto Networks seeks a Global Sales Support Specialist to enable revenue attainment by supporting the Field Sales Team with quotes, configurations, and process training. The role emphasizes collaboration with internal partners to move deals forward and ensure accurate, timely responses.

The successful candidate will participate in SFDC-based training, support system improvements, and handle global requests with a focus on quality and speed.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of related experience in sales support or sales operations environment preferred.
• Organized with demonstrated initiative; able to independently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours depending on month-end or quarter-end workload.
• Proficiency with Google products and experience in CRM systems (Salesforce CPQ and Steelbrick highly preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to communicate with customers, distributors, and resellers.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Sales Team with quoting complex deals and advising on product configuration rules.
• Educate on one-off quotes to order inquiries and participate in quote-to-order processes.
• Assist with short-term marketing sales promotions and coordinate with internal partners to move deals forward.
• Provide training on quote-to-order procedures, including SFDC basics and advanced quoting sessions.
• Identify system gaps or improvement opportunities and escalate to appropriate resources.
• Manage Global Sales Support activities with accuracy and speed from a shared mailbox.
