Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to plan and deliver operator and maintainer training for sensor systems at Fareham and global customer sites. You will develop educational material, contribute to publications and collaborate with UK/Swedish teams in a dynamic defence environment.

The role requires experience in radar or related electronic systems, teaching, and willingness to travel; NSV clearance to SC level or ability to obtain it is needed, along with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally; possession of a full UK driving licence.
• UK or Swedish citizenship and ability to obtain National Security Vetting to SC level.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to support training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and respond to student feedback.
• Provide SME input on system and software development.
• Contribute to sensor technical publications.
• Support demonstrations, trials, exercises and market growth activities.
