Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee planning, purchasing, and ensuring timely finished orders. The role involves coordinating materials, reviewing orders, and maintaining quality before dispatch.

The position offers exposure to UK and international freight, ERP/MRP usage, and a hands-on, problem-solving approach with equipment. Training provided and room to grow as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, procurement, supply chain or operations coordination.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent Excel and IT skills with ERP/MRP experience and export documentation knowledge.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving with equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of order planning, reviewing upcoming orders and securing materials and components through the MRP system.
• Driving purchasing, raising purchase orders, sourcing new components and comparing supplier quotations.
• Managing UK and international freight, from quotations and shipments through to export paperwork.
• Ensuring finished products are built, tested and programmed to the required quality standard before dispatch.
• Monitoring stock levels and leading replenishment and stock takes.
• Identifying recurring issues and driving improvements to processes and efficiency.
