Job summary

Sovos in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to bridge commercial strategy and technical advisory across our tax and compliance technology portfolio. You will lead discovery sessions, design scalable cross-border solutions, and articulate the business value of Sovos to enterprise customers, collaborating with Sales to win complex deals.

Travel may be required occasionally as you engage with global teams, and you will contribute to best practices and demos aligned with regulatory

Qualifications

• Lead discovery sessions with enterprise customers.
• Design scalable cross-border solution architectures.
• Influence senior stakeholders and align with Sales on account strategy.
• Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs and global tenders; deliver tailored demos.
• Collaborate in partner-led/embedded models for smooth pre-sales to implementation.
• Contribute to global pre-sales best practices and competitive positioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-entity discovery sessions across global customer organisations.
• Design scalable, cross-border solution architectures aligned to business and regulatory needs.
• Influence senior decision-makers and partner with Sales to shape account strategy.
• Own technical responses for enterprise RFPs, RFIs and global tenders, and deliver tailored demonstrations.
• Operate as a trusted advisor in partner-led/embedded models and ensure seamless transition to implementation.
• Contribute to global pre-sales best practices and maintain high-quality demo environments.
