Job summary

Sovos seeks a Pre-Sales Engineer in the United Kingdom to bridge commercial strategy and technical advisory, leading discovery, designing scalable cross-border solutions, and demonstrating the business value of Sovos’ tax and compliance platform to enterprise customers.

You will collaborate with Sales, engage with senior stakeholders across time zones, leverage AI tools to streamline discovery and demos, and support multi-country engagements with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading structured discovery sessions with enterprise customers.
• Ability to map ERP landscapes to compliant, scalable solutions.
• Strong English communication and executive stakeholder influence.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions across global customer organisations and map transaction flows.
• Design scalable, cross-border solution architectures aligned to needs.
• Influence senior decision-makers and partner with Sales on account strategy.
• Own responses for RFPs, RFIs and global tenders with demos reflecting ERP scenarios.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth handoffs from pre-sales to implementation.
• Contribute to global pre-sales best practices, messaging and demos.
• Leverage AI tools to improve discovery workflows and personalise demonstrations.
