Job summary

LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group in Leeds seeks an experienced Global Payroll Manager to lead and optimize payroll across 12+ countries, including the UK. You will design the payroll operating model, govern compliance, and manage vendor performance while partnering with HR and Finance for scalable delivery.

You will deliver accurate, compliant payroll reporting, own data governance, and support transformation initiatives to harmonize cross-border processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Senior payroll leadership experience in a complex, multi-country setup.
• Proven ability to design and implement global payroll operating models.
• Deep knowledge of statutory tax, pensions, and audits across countries.
• Experience managing international payroll vendors and SLAs.
• Ability to influence HR, Finance, Legal and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries and US/UK regions.
• Define and enforce a standardized payroll operating model with calendars and approvals.
• Design and maintain a payroll assurance framework and controls.
• Ensure compliance with tax and pension laws; lead audits and year-end close.
• Oversee vendor governance and service levels with HR and Finance.
• Maintain data integrity across HR, finance, and vendor systems.
• Provide strategic payroll reporting on costs, headcount, and FTEs.
• Drive transformation through automation and cross-border workflow harmonization.
