Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll processing and compliance in our HR team. You will drive accuracy, partner with HR, and serve as a payroll subject-matter expert to ensure efficient operations.

In this role you will administer cycles for salaried and hourly staff across US and UK, while upholding regulatory standards and reporting requirements. A strong background with Dayforce HCM and Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years multi-state payroll and compliance experience.
• 3+ years supporting US payroll operations and compliance.
• 3+ years hands-on Dayforce HCM experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience conducting payroll audits and reconciliations.
• Experience with hourly non-exempt timekeeping administration.
• Strong payroll data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance regulations.
• Highly organized with keen attention to deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly and off-cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly staff across US & UK.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and international payroll regulations and policies.
• Coordinate with HR on deadlines, audits, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate reporting.
• Resolve discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Support payroll system configuration updates in Dayforce HCM.
• Adhere to auditing procedures and validate state tax allocations and notices.
• Enter and validate payroll and benefit data in related systems.
