Job summary

GM Performance Power Units seeks a Payroll Analyst to own end-to-end payroll processing across US and UK, collaborating with Human Resources to ensure precise, compliant payroll operations.

You will administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls, support Dayforce HCM, conduct audits, and provide reporting to assist financial planning. A background in 3+ years of payroll, multi-state experience, and process improvement is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years handling multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• 3+ years supporting US payroll operations and compliance.
• 3+ years with Dayforce HCM and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience performing payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll compliance reviews.
• Experience supporting hourly non-exempt timekeeping administration.
• Strong data analysis and reporting for compliance and finance.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly staff.
• Ensure compliance with US and UK payroll regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR for deadlines, audits, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and reporting.
• Resolve discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support Dayforce HCM configuration updates.
• Audit procedures and state tax allocations to ensure compliance.
• Enter and validate payroll and benefit data in systems.
• Produce payroll reports and support year-end processing.
