Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to oversee end-to-end payroll for US and UK teams in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with Human Resources to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing and effective reporting.

The role requires hands-on Dayforce HCM usage, strong Excel skills, and thorough knowledge of payroll regulations across jurisdictions. Collaboration with finance and HR is essential for accurate budgeting and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting US payroll operations and payroll compliance requirements.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• Hands-on Dayforce HCM experience and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees (US & UK).
• Ensure compliance with US federal/state payroll regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR for payroll deadlines, auditing, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate payroll reporting.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Support payroll system configuration updates in Dayforce HCM.
• Adhere to auditing procedures and validate state tax allocations and notices.
• Enter and validate payroll and benefit information in related systems.
