An opportunity has arisen for two Global Payroll Analysts to take responsibility for delivering our global payrolls, working in our Reward team and closely with our People Services team. The People Services team aims to improve the experience of our people, taking responsibility for delivering an outstanding HR service – so they, in turn, can help our customers achieve their scientific breakthroughs faster.
Working in payroll within the Reward team offers a fantastic opportunity to impact the employee experience at abcam. You will be responsible for ensuring payroll operations are delivered in line with SOX procedures. You will manage all payroll providers globally and implement effective provider management practices. Additionally, you will coach and mentor the People Services team to ensure payroll entry administration is delivered effectively by HR specialists.
This role supports abcam’s payroll operations across all locations globally, including the UK, Europe, USA, and APAC.
You should have a detailed understanding and working knowledge of global payroll processes, providers, and relevant legislation, with experience in both in-sourced and out-sourced solutions. Prior experience in processing US payroll, including specialized knowledge of US benefits, tax requirements, and legislation, is essential. Experience working with payroll and benefits systems and internal reporting platforms is also required.
You should have participated in your company's review and selection of payroll providers. Additionally, you should have knowledge and experience in reporting, administration, and handling complex, confidential, high-volume information, maintaining data integrity and accuracy. A strong understanding and experience with HR and payroll systems are necessary.
