Job summary

TRG FMCG, based in the United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Director of Operations to drive growth and strengthen operational capabilities across the business and international markets. You will lead cross-functional teams, challenge existing processes and implement scalable improvements to support the commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior operations leadership role (Director level or equivalent).
• Background in FMCG, consumer products, distribution or manufacturing.
• Experience operating in international or multi-location environments.
• Track record of improving operational performance and implementing meaningful change.
• Strong commercial awareness balancing efficiency, finance and customer expectations.
• Experience managing complex supply chains or transformation programmes.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships.
• Proactive, solutions-focused leadership developing teams and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple functions with aligned teams and resources.
• Review operating models and identify opportunities to improve productivity and service delivery.
• Lead business improvement initiatives, simplify processes and scale operations.
• Oversee supply chain, logistics and planning across international markets.
• Evaluate systems, tech and data capabilities to improve visibility and decision making.
• Support deployment of new technologies, automation and digital tools for efficiency.
• Develop robust performance metrics and management information for decisions.
• Collaborate with commercial, finance and other leaders to align operational priorities.
• Strengthen risk management, continuity planning and governance.
• Coach and develop high-performing teams with a culture of accountability.
