Job summary

Solutions Driven is seeking an Operations Director to lead operational performance across the organisation, ensuring safe, high-quality customer service and sustainable revenue growth. You will provide leadership to General Managers, translate strategy into plans and support growth across the network.

This role is UK-wide with remote-based working and regular travel, and is designed to provide succession to the Managing Director as capability develops, with broader leadership responsibilities

Qualifications

• Significant senior operational leadership experience in a multi-site service, technical, engineering or similarly complex operational business.
• Experience leading managers with responsibility for multiple teams, locations or business units.
• Responsibility for revenue, budgets, profitability and operational performance.
• Track record of delivering business growth and operational improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance across the organisation, ensuring capacity, productivity, service delivery and customer commitments are met.
• Coach and develop General Managers with accountability for performance.
• Deliver revenue, EBITDA, cost and cash targets with Finance and General Managers on budgets and forecasts.
• Develop growth plans for operational areas and identify opportunities for revenue and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement with consistent processes and performance measures.
• Ensure workforce plans including recruitment, development and succession of key talent.
