Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or international transport.
• Understanding of import/export procedures and customs.
• Experience coordinating road, sea, or air freight movements.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Commercial awareness of freight costs and margins.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments across road, sea, and air freight services.
• Manage freight bookings with carriers, hauliers, and shipping lines.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation and customs paperwork.
• Monitor shipments and provide customers with regular updates.
• Obtain freight quotations and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers.
• Liaise with overseas agents and partners to ensure smooth international movements.
• Resolve any delivery, customs, or transport-related issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and operational data.
• Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service and communication
