White Recruitment is seeking a Multimodal Freight Coordinator in the Coleshill area. The role focuses on Ocean Freight initially, with development into Air and Road freight, offering long-term career progression within a growing global logistics business.

The role supports a busy operations team, handling bookings, documentation and customer liaison while aiming to deliver high service levels in multimodal freight services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Good understanding of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
• Experience handling Ocean Freight operations; Air/Road knowledge beneficial.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Managing Ocean Freight shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Handling customer enquiries, quotations, and shipment bookings.
• Liaising with customers, hauliers, customs brokers, and internal departments.
• Ensuring shipment documentation and customs procedures are completed accurately.
• Monitoring shipments and proactively updating customers throughout the process.
• Supporting import and export operations across multimodal freight services.
• Maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Assisting with claims handling and problem resolution where required.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects.

Multimodal Freight Coordinator

A well-established and growing global logistics business is currently seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its expanding operations team based in the Coleshill area.

The Role

We are looking for someone who has:
