Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operations Coordinator to quote, route, rate, monitor and coordinate international shipments from pick-up through delivery. You’ll work with clients, customs and agents to move cargo efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong working knowledge of all rules, regulations, governance and documentation preparations, as it pertains to both Imports and Exports.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills are required, due to the high volume and demands of the position.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Quote, route, rate and monitor international shipments from pick-up to delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, customs and agents for efficient cargo movement.
• Prepare documents for export, import and customs clearance.
• Track and trace cargo and ensure proper movement and delivery.
• Ensure billing and cost information are accurately populated for invoicing and costing in TMF.
• Communicate with customers and other company branches to ensure service satisfaction.
• Seek the most profitable shipment mode while meeting customer requirements.
• Adhere to KPI targets and company standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
