Job summary

Detail 2 Recruitment Ltd is helping a global logistics business recruit a Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join their Liverpool team. The role focuses on ensuring smooth import freight and ocean export operations with accurate customs entries and timely quotes.

You will interact with carriers, hauliers and customers, handle inquiries, and manage end-to-end freight movements from start to finish. The role is office-based, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with a competitive pension and training

Qualifications

• Experience in import freight and ocean export freight.
• Familiarity with HMRC CDS clearances preferred.
• Experience using FF systems such as Cargoes, Actifreight, MCP, CNS.
• Ability to interact with customers and resolve issues.
• Thrives working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Completing full customs entries.
• Interacting with suppliers including hauliers and shipping lines.
• Arranging movements via shipping lines/agents/hauliers.
• Quoting new and existing customers.
• Account management of various specific customers.
• Invoicing customers and passing invoices from suppliers.
• Overseeing the process from start to finish.

Freight Forwarding Coordinator – Requirements

• Experience in Import freight and Ocean Export freight
